LE200 laser distance encoders use a laser diode rated to approximately ~50,000 hours and in optimal environmental conditions can result in up to 5 years of continuous operation.

Over time the laser diode becomes weakened, and the device may not function as intended over the rated measuring distance.

We offer a service program for LE200 sold or purchased within the last 8 years. We recommend units sold or purchased outside of this period, be replaced with a new device.

If you would like to send your device(s) to us for service or are unsure when your device was sold/purchased, send a photograph of the label (located on the device) to [email protected].

Once it is confirmed that the device(s) qualify for service, you will receive a Repair Return Authorization document via email from a TR Electronic representative with shipping instructions.

LE200s are repaired at the factory in Germany with an estimated turnaround time of 8 weeks, however, this can be subject to delays outside of our control and is not a guaranteed time-window. All inquiries regarding repairs can be made to [email protected].

Note - Devices shipped to us without first acquiring a Repair Return Authorization, may not be accepted for service and could result in additional shipping charges at the customer's expense.
