How Can I change the count direction on my encoder?

2) What interface does your encoder use? SSI, Ethernet, Incremental, etc.?
a) If your encoder is an Incremental, Parallel, SSI, Analog, or ISI, the data sheet will include a Pinout. Use this Pinout to find the electrical pin that is labeled "Direction Change". Apply the voltage specified on the Pinout to that pin and the direction will change from default.
b) If your encoder is a Fieldbus Protocol (Profibus, DeviceNet etc.), IO-Link or Ethernet-based (EIP, Profinet etc.), you can follow the link here to download the manual and follow the instructions for direction change.
